How to insert a SIM Card

SIM cards are inserted mostly in the SIM card tray usually located on the side of your device after powering it off. Once it’s in the device, turn the power back on and it can be used.

eSIM details

Description

An eSIM is a digital version of a SIM card. Instead of a physical card, the information is stored electronically on your phone. It works just like a regular SIM card but can be activated without needing to insert anything into your phone.

How to install an eSIM

eSIM is much easier to install and eco-friendly as it’s completely digital. You’ll be given a QR code to scan or an activated code to be inputted in your device manually.

DUAL SIM

Dual SIM details

Description

A dual SIM set is two SIM cards or one eSIM and one SIM card in one device at the same time. This means you can have two networks on one phone. Dual SIMs can also be separated where one SIM card/eSIM can be in one device such as phone and the other one can be in a different device like pocket Wi-Fi, tablet or another phone.

How to insert a dual SIM set

For a dual SIM set, you will insert them in the same way you do for the SIM card/eSIM. In other words, you can simply scan the QR code or insert in the SIM card tray usually located on the side of your device. Some devices like Android phones have SIM card trays where you can insert 2 SIM cards at the same time.

A SIM set can also be inserted in separate devices such as pocket Wi-Fi, tablet, phone, etc.

Our SIM/eSIM products have a nationwide coverage of over 95%, utilizing NTT Docomo and SoftBank's networks.

Only the Voice 3GB, 10GB and 30GB plans can be changed. Other plans do not apply. Please note that once the request has been made through the app dashboard, it will reflect on your account the following month.

SIM cards can be used for most devices. Please take a look at our device compatibility list.

No, you will need to get your phone unlocked in order to use any of our plans. This goes for SIM cards and eSIMs.

Currently, only Voice (3GB/10GB/30GB) SIM cards/eSIMs have the hotspot/tethering feature. Data-only plans (50GB/100GB) do not have the feature. However, If you insert data-only SIM cards in pocket Wi-Fi, you can share internet data.
