How to Order

1. Tap on the banner on the “Home” screen of the Smiles Mobile Remittance app, or tap on “Smiles Connect” on the “Menu” screen of the app.

STEP 1

How to order a
Voice plan

1. After selecting your plan type, tap on “Next.”
2. Choose whether you want to keep or get a new phone number.
Skip to step 4 if you want to get a new phone number.

3. If you want to keep your phone number, input the necessary MNP details requested on the screen.
4. Choose the SIM type(s) you want to order.

Skip to step 6 if you selected to order two SIM cards or SIM card.
5. Enter the EID number of the device you want us to install the eSIM and tap on “Choose plan” after you’re finished.
6. Choose your plan size.
7. After you read the plan details and check the box to agree to the terms, select your payment method.
8. Select your calling options.
9. Review your order total and tap “Next” to proceed.



STEP 2

How to confirm a
Voice plan

1. If you’re keeping your phone number, select whether the previous contract owner of the phone number is the same as the current SIM card owner.
If you’re getting a new phone number, skip to step 3.
2. If you selected “No, different owner,” input the previous owner’s details and tap on “Next.”
If you selected “Yes, the same owner,” tap on “Next” and skip to step 3.
3. Check to make sure your personal details are correct, check the box to give us permission to use information from Smiles Mobile Remittance and tap “Next.”
4. Confirm your email and mailing addresses and tap “Looks good.”
5. Check your email, copy the verification code, paste it into the box on the screen and tap on “Next.”
6. Once your code has been verified, tap on “Next.”
7. Read the terms and conditions carefully, check the box to agree and tap “Agree and continue.”
8. Confirm all of your order details and tap “Next.”
9. Your order has been secured! Tap “Next” and make your payment so your order can be delivered to you as soon as possible!

3. Read the plan details carefully, check the box to agree and select your payment method.
4. Confirm your total amount and tap “Next.”

FAQs

Frequently asked
questions

No, the order is accounted to the person who made the transaction.

When you purchase a plan, you will be charged a security deposit fee of 3,000 yen (which will be fully refunded to you when you cancel your plan) and an activation fee of 3,000 yen only for the first month. After that, no crazy weird fees will be charged.

No, it is optional to deposit in your Smiles Wallet. Smiles Connect will not touch your amount until your order your plan on the official launch date.

Not at the moment. We currently only allow one customer to order one plan for themselves.

We advise our customers to order their SIM card between the 23rd and the end of the month so you can receive your SIM card/eSIM in time to use for the beginning of the following month.
