Billing Cycle Info Guide

How does the billing/payment cycle work?

January

25th

Receive invoice

Receive monthly invoice + calling/SMS fee from previous month (if any)

31st

Payment deadline

Make sure you pay your bill by the end of the month!

What happens if I miss a payment?

February

5th

Payment last call

If there is no payment by this day, your plan will be suspended.

Delay fee will be charged on the 6th

10th

Penalty fee will start charging from the 11th

How do I check my bill/invoice?

You can check your Smiles Connect bill in one of two ways:

Email

Your initial and monthly bill will be sent as an invoice (PDF) to the email registered with Smiles. You can find it by searching “Smiles Admin invoice” in your inbox search bar.

 

Smiles App

1. Go to Smiles Connect
2. Tap on “Billing” tab > scroll to bottom
3. Tap on “Invoice PDF (last issued)”

How do I save ATM fees with Smiles Wallet?

Deposit more to your Smiles Wallet, and we’ll take care of the deductions automatically!*

*Smiles Wallet automatically deducts your Smiles Connect monthly fee. If your balance is too low, the system checks once every hour until the payment is successful.

Smiles Tips:

If you make deposits to your Smiles Wallet in larger amounts, you’ll save money by paying fewer transaction fees.

    Which would you choose with a ¥500 ATM fee?

  • Deposit ¥10,000 four times and pay ¥2,000 in fees.
  • Deposit ¥40,000 one time, and only pay ¥500 in fees.

You can save ¥1,500 in fees by doing just one deposit!

No, we are completely transparent on our fees! When you purchase a plan, you will be charged a security deposit fee of 3,000 yen (which will be fully refunded to you when you cancel your plan) and an activation fee of 3,000 yen.
